This guide will walk you through everything, from melting the soap base to creating beautiful multilayered soaps with natural decorations.
What’s Included in Your Box
  • Glycerin-based, organic, vegan soap base (enough for 4 soaps)
  • Wooden stirring sticks
  • 2 silicone molds
  • Mica powder colorants
  • Oats
  • Seeds
  • Real dry flowers
  • Coffee beans
What You’ll Need From Home
  • Microwave
  • Microwave-safe container or glassware (even a cup works)
  • Alcohol spray (rubbing alcohol in a small spray bottle—see note below)
  • Optional: other silicone molds at home (baking molds, chocolate molds, etc.)
đź’ˇTip: Clean workspace and preparation make soap-making fun and mess-free.
Alcohol Spray (for cleaning & smoothing your molds)
When we say “alcohol spray,” we mean regular rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) that you can easily find at any pharmacy or grocery store.

đź’ˇTip: Put it in a small spray bottle so you can lightly mist your silicone mold before pouring each layer. This helps:

  • Remove tiny bubbles on the surface
  • Smooth the layers between pours
  • Ensure your soap releases easily from the mold

Don’t worry—it evaporates quickly and is completely safe to use with your soap. No special equipment needed!

STEP 1
Prepare Your Soap Base
1. Decide how many soaps you want to make. This kit contains enough soap base for 4 soaps.
2. Split the soap base into approximately 4 portions.
3. If making multilayered soaps, further split each portion into 2–3 parts depending on how many layers you want in each soap.

đź’ˇTip: You can also make a single-layer soap if you prefer a straightforward design.

STEP 2
Melt the Soap Base
1. Place one portion of the soap base into a microwave-safe container.
2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring gently after each interval, until the soap is fully melted.

💡Tip: Microwaves vary—go slowly to avoid overheating.

STEP 3
Add Color and Decorations
1. If you want colored soap, use a tiny amount of mica powder on the tip of a wooden stick. Stir gently and gradually add more until you reach your desired color.
2. You can also add oats, seeds, coffee beans, or other elements inside the layer or on top.
3. If making a multilayered soap, plan how each layer will look before pouring.

💡Tip: Start small—you can always adjust color or decoration gradually.

STEP 4
Prepare Your Mold
1. Lightly spray the silicone mold with alcohol before pouring to remove bubbles and ensure a smooth surface.
2. Pour the melted soap into the mold.
3. After pouring, spray the top with alcohol to remove surface bubbles.

💡Tip: Alcohol evaporates quickly and won’t affect your soap.

STEP 5
Pour Additional Layers
1. Let the first layer solidify partially before pouring the next. The top should be soft but firm, not fully liquid.
2. Timing is important:
Pour too soon: Layers will mix and bleed.
Wait too long: Layers may not adhere.
3. Use your judgment—for thin layers, wait 5–10 minutes; for thicker layers, wait 15–20 minutes.

đź’ˇTip: Spray alcohol on the previous layer before pouring the next for a smooth finish.

4. Continue layering until your mold is full.
5. Decorate top layer or intermediate layers with dry flowers, oats, seeds, or coffee beans—gently press them in, and they will stick as the soap solidifies.

đź’ˇSafety Note: Avoid placing decorative items too close to the bottom or edges if they might create a hazard when using soap.

STEP 6
Let Your Soap Cool Completely
1. Allow the soap to cool completely at room temperature.
2. Test the bottom of the mold—if it’s cool and solid, carefully remove your soap.
3. Don’t rush—let it sit for a couple of hours for best results.

đź’ˇTip: If your soap hardens in the container during the process, simply reheat it gently and continue.

STEP 7
Repeat
1. Repeat Steps 2–6 for the remaining portions of soap base.
2. Experiment with colors, layers, and decorations to make each soap unique.
