Born and raised in Ukraine, my creative journey began in childhood. Art was my refuge, my passion, my playground. But as I grew older, societal pressures nudged me towards a more "practical" path. So, I pursued studies in business and marketing, hoping to find fulfillment in corporate success.

In 2017, I embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to a new country in pursuit of career opportunities. I thrived in the fast-paced world of advertising, building a successful career that many would envy. Yet, despite outward appearances of success, I felt a deep sense of emptiness—a yearning for something more meaningful.

However, with each accolade, I felt the tug of an unfulfilled longing—a void that no amount of professional achievement could fill. It was a longing for authenticity, for creative expression, for a deeper connection to myself and others.

In the years leading up to 2022, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration. I reeducated myself, relearned forgotten skills, and immersed myself in the world of art. I participated in the biggest art shows in Canada, sold my work to collectors around the world, and cultivated a community of fellow creatives.

Finally, in 2022, I found what I was meant to do. Arting Around was born from this pivotal moment—a dream to create a sanctuary where creativity, self-expression, and community converge.

As an immigrant navigating the complexities of a new country, I understand the challenge of finding one's tribe. But through art, I discovered a universal language—a bridge that connects hearts and minds across cultures and borders.
Art became my compass, guiding me back to myself amidst the noise of the world. It was my therapy, my meditation, my salvation. And now, I'm honored to share this transformative power with others.

Arting Around isn't just a studio—it's a sanctuary for souls to soar, for spirits to sing, for stories to unfold. It's where adults rediscover the wonder of childhood, where experimentation is celebrated, where true connection is forged.

Over the past two years, Arting Around has flourished into a vibrant community. More than 2,000 students have embarked on their journey of self-expression with us, each leaving a unique imprint on our collective tapestry.

Our team, like a mosaic of diverse talents and passions, continues to grow. I'm grateful for the exceptional individuals who share my vision and mission—who pour their hearts and souls into nurturing creativity and fostering connection.

But art, for me, extends beyond the confines of a studio or a canvas. It's a symphony of self-discovery, a dance of liberation. Personally, I'm not just a studio owner—I'm a singer, a dancer, a perpetual explorer of new art forms.
