Before you start, please read this manual fully and watch our online tutorial first. The video shows each step in real time, making it easier to follow.

Don’t rush—candles take patience, and reading ahead helps you feel confident and prepared. Just like real ice drinks, no two ice latte candles will ever look exactly the same—each one is unique and handmade by you!
This guide will walk you through every step, from setting up your workspace to finishing touches, ensuring your candle looks beautiful, smells amazing, and burns safely.
What’s Included in Your Box
  • Gell wax – pre-cut cubes to imitate ice
  • Pure soy wax flakes
  • Brown chip of candle dye
  • 1 wick
  • 1 sticker to attach the wick
  • 1 wick holder
  • 2 wooden sticks (for stirring)
  • A couple of real coffee beans (for decoration)
  • Candle safety sticker
  • Small metal pouring pitcher
  • Glass container (cup) for the candle
  • Bottle with 100% coffee essential oil
What You’ll Need From Home
  • Stove (any type works)
  • Small pot (for double boiler setup)
  • Scissors
  • Optional: thermometer (helps measure wax temperature)
  • Napkin or paper towel (for handling hot containers)
  • Rubbing alcohol or similar (optional, for cleaning oily spots)
💡Tip: Make sure your workspace is clean and organized—candles are fun, but spills happen if you’re not prepared!
STEP 1
Attach the Wick
Your wick is key to an even burn.
1. Place the sticker at the base of the wick.
2. Press it onto the center bottom of your glass container.
3. Secure with the wick holder to keep it straight.

💡Tip: Take your time to center the wick perfectly—it ensures the candle burns evenly and looks professional.

STEP 2
Add the “Ice” Cubes
1. Place the gell wax cubes in your container (your ice latte cup).
2. Arrange them so some cubes touch the walls, leaving small gaps for pouring wax.
3. Press lightly so cubes stick to the sides while leaving room for the soy wax to flow.

đź’ˇTip: Make some cubes visible from the outside for a realistic ice look.

STEP 3
Set Up Your Double Boiler
We melt wax safely using a double boiler.
1. Fill your small pot with water (~1/3 full).
2. Place the metal pouring pitcher in the water (do not touch the bottom).
3. Heat on medium until the water simmers gently.
4. Keep a napkin or potholder nearby for handling the hot pitcher.

đź’ˇTip: The double boiler prevents wax from burning and protects the fragrance.

STEP 4
Melt the Soy Wax and Add Fragrance
1. Place soy wax flakes into the metal pouring pitcher on the double boiler.
2. Stir gently as it melts. Keep going until fully melted—no lumps remain.
3. Once the wax is fully melted at its highest temperature, add all the coffee essential oil.
4. Stir 2–3 minutes to fully blend the fragrance.

đź’ˇTip: Adding fragrance at the highest temperature ensures the scent fully binds to the wax and smells amazing once cured.

STEP 5
Pour the “Milk” Layer
1. Pour the white soy wax (uncolored) gently into the gaps between ice cubes.
2. Fill about 2/3 of the cup, or adjust to your preference.
3. Pour slowly to flow naturally around the ice cubes.

💡Tip: Wax slightly cooled (~50–60°C) prevents melting the ice cubes and creates clean layers.

STEP 6
Reheat Remaining Wax and Add Espresso Color
1. Take remaining wax (milk layer leftovers).
2. Reheat gently in the double boiler until fully melted.
3. Add brown dye chip to create the espresso shot color. Start with half a chip and add more gradually until you reach the desired shade.
4. Stir thoroughly.

💡Tip: Wax looks darker while melted and lighter after curing—test a small drop if you want.

STEP 7
Pour the “Espresso Shot” Layer
1. Pour the colored wax over the milk layer.
2. Timing affects the look:
Pour immediately: marbled effect blending with milk
Wait slightly: more distinct milk and espresso layers

💡Tip: Avoid pouring partially hardened wax—it won’t flow smoothly. Reheat fully if needed.

STEP 8
Decorative Touches & Cleanup
1. Press real coffee beans gently on top.
2. Adjust ice cubes if they sank too much—gently push them up for visibility.
3. If wax spilled or left oily residue on the glass cup, clean with rubbing alcohol for a polished look.
4. If cured wax covers the tops of your ice cubes, simply peel them off carefully for best effect.
STEP 9
Attach Safety Sticker
1. Place the candle safety sticker on the outside of your cup after the candle is fully cured.
2. This ensures anyone using it knows safe burning instructions.
STEP 10
Let Your Candle Cure
1. Allow the candle to sit at room temperature for 1–2 days for best results.
2. Do not burn immediately—fully cured wax burns evenly, smells stronger, and looks beautiful.

đź’ˇTip: Patience is key! The wait is part of making a professional-looking candle.

STEP 11
Burning Your Candle Safely
1. Place on a heat-resistant surface.
2. Trim wick to 0.5–1 cm before lighting.
3. Burn 2–3 hours max per session for even wax pool.
4. Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
5. Let wax cool fully between burns.
Extra Safety Tips:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Avoid moving the candle while lit.
- Keep wick centered for safe and even burn.
- Keep your workspace clean during pouring.
