Before you start, please read this manual fully and watch our online tutorial first. The video shows each step in real time, making it easier to follow.

Don’t rush—candles take patience, and reading ahead helps you feel confident and prepared. Just like real desserts, no two dessert candles will ever look exactly the same—each one is unique and handmade by you!
This guide will walk you through every step, from setting up your workspace to finishing touches, ensuring your candle looks beautiful, smells amazing, and burns safely.
What’s Included in Your Box
  • Pure soy wax flakes (for the base layer)
  • Soy wax flakes (for the cream layer)
  • Soy wax crumbles (colored, for biscuit/crumb layers)
  • Soy wax strawberries and berries
  • 2 piping bags (for cream layer)
  • 1 metal piping tip (for decorating)
  • 1 wick
  • 1 sticker to attach the wick
  • 1 wick holder
  • 2 wooden sticks (for stirring)
  • Real sprinkles (decorative)
  • Candle safety sticker
  • Small metal pouring pitcher
  • Glass container (cup) for the candle
  • Bottle with 100% essential oil
What You’ll Need From Home
  • Stove (any type works)
  • Small pot (for double boiler setup)
  • Mixer (hand mixer, milk frother, or small whisk for creating cream)
  • Scissors
  • Napkin or paper towel (for handling hot containers)
  • Rubbing alcohol or similar (optional, for cleaning oily spots)
  • *Optional: silicone spatula (helps transfer cream wax into piping bag and smooth layers)
💡Tip: Make sure your workspace is clean and organized—candles are fun, but spills happen if you’re not prepared!
STEP 1
Attach the Wick
Your wick is key to an even burn.
1. Place the sticker at the base of the wick.
2. Press it onto the center bottom of your glass container.
3. Secure with the wick holder to keep it straight.

💡Tip: Take your time to center the wick perfectly—it ensures the candle burns evenly and looks professional.

STEP 2
Melt the Soy Wax for the Base Layer
1. Place the soy wax flakes labeled “Base” into your metal pouring pitcher.
2. Set up a double boiler (small pot with ~1/3 water) and place the pitcher in the water, making sure it doesn’t touch the bottom.
3. Heat on medium until fully melted, stirring gently with a wooden stick.
4. Once the wax is fully melted at its highest temperature, add all the essential oil and stir 2–3 minutes.

đź’ˇTip: Adding fragrance at high temperature ensures it fully binds to the wax for the best scent.

STEP 3
Pour the Base Layer
1. Pour the melted wax gently into the glass container to form the base layer.
2. Let it settle completely. The top should harden slightly but still allow layering on top.

💡Tip: The base layer is your “cake foundation”—wait until it’s firm enough to support the next layers without sinking.

STEP 4
Add Biscuit/Crumb Layers
1. Take the soy wax crumbles (colored) and gently layer them over the base.
2. Break larger pieces into smaller bits if needed to imitate biscuit or cookie texture.
3. Layer as thick as you like, checking the outside of the glass to see how it looks.
4. Press lightly to secure the crumbs without embedding them too deeply into the base.
đź’ˇTips:
  • Use your eyes—this is about creating a realistic dessert look.
  • You can mix colors slightly for more natural crumbs.
  • Don’t worry if it’s uneven—handmade looks beautiful!
STEP 5
Prepare the Cream Layer (Advanced Instructions)
Important: Before melting your cream wax, prepare your piping bag and metal tip so you can fill it quickly once the cream reaches the perfect texture. Things happen fast!
1. Take the soy wax flakes labeled “Cream” and melt them in your double boiler.
2. Stir gently as it melts.
3. Once fully melted, remove from heat and let the wax cool until it turns cloudy, develops solid particles, and begins to solidify.

đź’ˇCritical Tip:

  • Wax must be soft, cloudy, and almost fluffy before you start whipping—not fully liquid, not hard.
  • If you start too early (wax still liquid), it will be oily and won’t whip.
  • If you wait too long, it may harden and be difficult to whip.
4. Use a mixer, hand frother, or whisk on max speed.
5. Whip for ~30 seconds, then use a silicone spatula to pull cream from the walls and bottom, making sure everything is incorporated.
6. Repeat whipping in short bursts, scraping down the sides each time, until the wax reaches a smooth, creamy, pipeable frosting-like texture.
7. Quickly transfer the whipped cream into the prepared piping bag.

đź’ˇTips for Success:

  • Work quickly but in short bursts—wax sets fast.
  • The goal is a thick, smooth, cohesive cream—not runny, not chunky.
  • Have the piping bag ready to fill immediately once the cream is whipped.
  • Practice makes perfect—don’t worry if the first attempt isn’t flawless.
STEP 6
Pipe the Cream Layer
1. Pipe small puffs or swirls of cream over your crumb layer.
2. Work slowly, layering gently, building up a realistic cream look.
3. Take frequent pauses to check the outside of the cup—adjust shape or height as needed.

đź’ˇTips:

  • Use single puffs or swirls for a realistic whipped cream effect.
  • Don’t overfill the top—think natural dessert.
  • If a puff collapses, simply pipe over it again—wax is forgiving!
STEP 7
Add Strawberries, Berries & Sprinkles
1. Place soy strawberries, berries, and real sprinkles on top of the cream before it fully hardens.
2. Press gently so they stick but don’t sink into the cream.

đź’ˇTips:

  • Work quickly; the cream hardens as it cools.
  • You can slightly adjust berries or sprinkles for a fun, realistic arrangement.
  • Real sugar sprinkles will look like frosting and even melt slightly if the candle is burned carefully.
STEP 8
Decorative Cleanup & Final Touches
1. Remove any wax spills or oily residue on the glass with rubbing alcohol.
2. Adjust any loose crumbs, berries, or sprinkles while the cream is still slightly soft.

💡Tip: Step back and admire your creation—it’s supposed to look handmade and unique!

STEP 9
Attach Safety Sticker
1. Place the candle safety sticker on the outside of your cup after the candle is fully cured.
2. This ensures anyone using it knows safe burning instructions.

đź’ˇTip: This ensures anyone using the candle knows safe burning instructions.

STEP 10
Let Your Candle Cure
1. Allow the candle to sit at room temperature for 1–2 days for best results.
2. Do not burn immediately—fully cured wax burns evenly, smells stronger, and looks beautiful.

đź’ˇTip: Patience is key! The wait is part of making a professional-looking candle.

STEP 11
Burning Your Candle Safely
1. Place on a heat-resistant surface.
2. Trim wick to 0.5–1 cm before lighting.
3. Burn 2–3 hours max per session for even wax pool.
4. Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
5. Let wax cool fully between burns.
Extra Safety Tips:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Avoid moving the candle while lit.
- Keep wick centered for safe and even burn.
- Keep your workspace clean during pouring.
