I'm Julia, a Ukrainian-Canadian multimedia artist & artrepreneur, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to Arting Around.
I coined the term “arting around” to capture the playful and experimental spirit of our community.
As an immigrant and an adult with bills to pay and problems to solve, finding my tribe wasn't easy. For years, I pursued a corporate career, feeling like something huge was missing. Art helped me rediscover myself, learn how to express my true identity, and find my community. Two years ago, I opened our hub in Toronto to share this transformative experience with others.
Our talented team and I are here to guide you through the magical process of creativity and self-expression. Let's embark on this creative journey together!

I absolutely enjoyed Julia’s masterclasses. She is a great, helpful and patient instructor. The workshop is very meditative and unleashes your creativity, that maybe you don’t even suspect that you have. With no experience in drawing and painting I ended up with a masterpiece of my own! Loved it and highly recommend it!

Following you was the best decision I made, I saw your post as a suggestion and saw that there was a workshop being organized! I was so excited as I was looking forward to joining such workshops before I get into working full time!
