Dry Flowers Collage Wall Décor Workshop
The Dry Flower Collage class is a slow, mindful, and deeply creative experience where nature meets personal expression. In this class, you’ll create two unique wall-hanging (framed) art pieces using carefully selected dried and pressed flowers, plants, and natural textures, combined with thoughtfully curated paper elements.

This class blends organic materials with storytelling. Alongside dried botanicals, you’ll have access to a collection of vintage newspapers and unique magazines, allowing you to add depth, contrast, and narrative to your background if you choose. Whether you prefer a clean, minimal look or a layered, nostalgic collage, you’ll be guided in developing a composition that feels intentional and personal.

No prior art experience is needed. The class is welcoming for beginners while still offering creative freedom and exploration for more experienced artists.

Everything is included — from all creative materials and professional instruction to light snacks and drinks — so you can fully relax and focus on creating.

What you’ll be working with
  • A curated selection of dried and pressed flowers, leaves, and botanicals
  • Vintage newspapers and unique magazines for optional background layers
  • Natural textures and mixed-media elements
  • Professional adhesives and tools suitable for delicate materials
  • Quality wall-hanging surfaces (glass frames) for both projects

What you’ll learn
  • How to work carefully with dried flowers and fragile materials
  • Composition techniques including balance, layering, and focal points
  • How to combine organic and paper elements harmoniously
  • Secure attachment methods so your artwork lasts over time
  • How to translate ideas, moods, or memories into visual form

The class takes place in our cozy studio located at 191 Eglinton Ave East, Unit 310, just a 5-minute walk from Eglinton subway station. Free parking is available on site.

This class is ideal if you’re looking to slow down, reconnect with your creativity, and experiment with mixed media in an intuitive way. You’ll leave with two completed art pieces and a deeper appreciation for working with natural and vintage-inspired materials.
