Guided Acrylic Painting Workshop: Fruits on Newspaper Canvas

The Guided Acrylic Painting Workshop is a bold and playful creative experience where painting meets mixed media storytelling. In this class, you’ll create one acrylic painting by transforming newspaper pages into a textured canvas and layering dimensional, hand-painted fruits on top.

This workshop explores contrast — old and new, text and color, flat and dimensional. You’ll learn how to properly stretch and secure newspaper onto canvas, turning it into a strong, paint-ready surface, before bringing vibrant fruits to life with acrylic paint.

No prior painting experience is needed. The workshop is beginner-friendly while offering a highly original concept and guided structure.

Everything is included — from all materials and professional guidance to light snacks and drinks — so you can fully enjoy the process.
