The 3D Lemon Canvas Workshop is a vibrant, hands-on creative experience where you’ll create a dimensional canvas artwork by combining painting with sculpted plaster elements. This workshop is all about texture, depth, and playful realism, allowing you to transform a flat surface into something that feels fresh, lively, and almost real.
You’ll begin by casting and shaping your own lemons using plaster, learning how to work with simple forms in molds. As your pieces set, you’ll move into painting your canvas background, exploring color combinations and composition. Once ready, you’ll attach and paint your lemons, bringing everything together into a cohesive 3D artwork.
You’ll explore a variety of techniques — plaster casting, surface building, color layering, highlighting, and shading— discovering how each step adds dimension and realism. You’ll also learn practical tips and studio tricks: how to work with plaster smoothly, when to demold, how to attach elements securely, and how to achieve that clean, finished look.
No prior experience is needed. Beginners are welcome, and more experienced artists will enjoy exploring a new mixed-media approach. Everything is included — from plaster, molds, canvases, paints, and tools to professional instruction, as well as light snacks and drinks — so you can fully immerse yourself in the creative process.
